FIFA YAMUONGEZEA PESA OBILALE WA TOGO.

Mlinda mlango wa timu ya taifa ya Togo Kodjovi Obilale atapatiwa dola100,000 kutoka Shirikisho la Soka Duniani- Fifa baada ya kujeruhiwa vibaya kwa risasi kabla ya kuanza fainali za Kombe la Mataifa ya Afrika nchini Angola mwezi wa Januari.
KODJOVI OBILALE.
Rais wa Fifa Sepp Blatter, alimwambia Obilale mwezi wa Septemba kwamba malipo ya dola 25,000 zitatolewa kutoka mfuko wa Fifa wa misaada ya kibinadamu.

Hata hivyo Shirikisho hilo la soka Duniani kwa sasa limeamua kuongeza kiwango hicho cha pesa.

Mlinda mlango huyo mwenye umri wa miaka 25 alifanyiwa upasuaji kutokana na majeraha ya risasi alizopigwa mgongoni na tumboni kufuatia shambulio hilo.

Shambulio hilo lililotokea katika jimbo la Cabinda nchini Angola, lilisababisha watu wawili waliokuwemo katika kikosi cha Togo kupoteza maisha pamoja na dereva wa basi lililokuwa limewachukua.

Obilale bado hawezi kutembea ikiwa ni miezi minane tangu lilipotokea shambulio la risasi lililofanywa na waasi wanaotaka kujitenga kwa jimbo la Cabinda na bado anaendelea kutibiwa nchini Ufaransa.

Togo ilijitoa katika fainali za Kombe la Mataifa ya Afrika nchini Angola baada ya shambulio hilo na ilifungiwa na Shirikisho la Soka barani Afrika (Caf) kwa miaka minne kushiriki mashindano hayo.

Hata hivyo Fifa ilitengua adhabu hiyo.

Akiwa amekatishwa tamaa kwa kukosa msaada kutoka Caf na Angola ambao waliandaa mashindano hayo, Obilale alimwandikia barua Rais wa Fifa Blatter mwezi wa Agosti akimuomba msaada.

Blatter akamuahidi msaada kutoka mfuko huo wa Fifa wa misaada ya kijamii, pamoja na kumueleza Fifa haina dhamana na mashambulio ya Cabinda.

Obilale alieleza hadhari kukatishwa tamaa kwa kukosa msaada wa Caf na maafisa wa Angola baada ya shambulio hilo ambalo limekatisha matumaini yake ya kucheza soka.

Mlinda mlango huyo aliyekuwa akichezea klabu moja ya daraja la chini huko Ufaransa, hawezi kusogeza mguu wake wa kuume chini ya goti, pia mguu wake umekufa ganzi, lakini ana matumaini ataweza kutembea siku za baadae.

Kwa sasa anatumia kiti maalum cha kutembelea kuzunguka hapa na pale na amesema angekuwa na jina kubwa katika soka, basi matibabu yake yangekuwa tofauti na anayopatiwa sasa..

TOTTENHAM SARE YA 1-1 NA SUNDERLAND.

Asamoah Gyan alifuta furaha ya bao la Rafael van der Vaart wakati Sunderland ilipoinyima ushindi Tottenham katika uwanja wake wa nyumbani wa White Hart Lane.
Spurs walikuwa wakijitahidi kuipenya ngiome imara ya Sunderland katika kipindi cha kwanza, huku Tom Huddlestone akiachia mkwaju uliopiga mwamba kutoka umbali wa yadi 25.

Walifanikiwa kupata bao la kuongoza wakati Gareth Bale alipomimina krosi kutoka upande wa kushoto na baada ya Peter Crouch kuurudisha kwa kichwa karibu na lango, Van der Vaart akautuliza na kuujaza kimiani.

Sunderland walisawazisha wakati Gyan alipotumia makosa ya walinzi wa Tottenham kupachika bao la kusawazisha na kujipatia pointi moja.

Kwa matokeo hayo Tottenham wameendelea kusalia nafasi ya sita wakiwa na pointi 16 na Sunderland wapo nyuma yao nafasi ya saba wakiwa na pointi sawa 16.

FIFA YATUMA RAMBI RAMBI KENYA.

Rais wa shirikisho la soka duniani FIFA Sepp Blatter amesema kuwa amesikitishwa na yale yaliyofanyika siku ya Jumamosi usiku katika uwanja wa kitaifa wa Nyayo mjini Nairobi,tukio lililosababisha vifo vya watu saba na wengine wengi kujeruhiwa.

"Napenda nieleze kusikitishwa kwangu na napenda nitangulize rambi rambi zangu kwa mashabiki wa soka nchini Kenya,na zaidi kwa jamii na marafiki kufwatia vifo hivi," alisema Rais wa FIFA.

"Nafahamu kwamba uchunguzi umeanzishwa. Lazima juhudi zifanywe ili chanzo cha tukio hili baya kijulikane kwa nia ya kuzuia hali hii kutokea kwenye uwanja wa Nyayo tena."

Ni hapo Jumatatu tu, ambapo FIFA ililitaka shirikisho la soka nchini Kenya FKL kuelezea mazingira, yaliyosababisha mkasa huo kutokea.
Shirikisho la FKL, limepiga marufuku mechi zozote kufanyika katika Uwanja wa Nyayo na ule wa City, hadi watimize masharti ya usalama kuambatana na kanuni za FIFA.

Mkasa huo wa Jumamosi ulitokea wakati mashabiki wa mahasimu wa jadi AFC Leopards na Gormahia waking'ang'ana kuingia uwanjani.

Ilikuwa ni katika pambano la ligi ya kitaifa.

2. WASIFU WA ALI KIBA NA WENZAKE
When it comes to the Tanzanian music style of Bongo Flava, (a combination of hip hop and traditional East African music), one man is at the top of the food chain. He goes by the name Alikiba and he is fast becoming an internationally recognised star. Alikiba’s Bongo Flava style is largely influenced “Zouk” music which has it’s origins in the Caribbean Islands. “Zouk” means “party” or “festival” in Antillean Creole and that is exactly what the music of Alikiba is all about.

Alikiba’s first album was released in 2008 and shortly after it hit shelves the album became one the top selling albums in East Africa. Its main feature was the hit “Cinderella,” the popularity of which propelled him on a whirlwind tour of the UK and the US.

In 2009 Alikiba released his second album entitled “Ali K 4Real” which saw him nominated for two extremely prestigious awards in the UK. The first award that the Swahili speaking artist was recognised for was the Best East African Artist at the African Music Awards for 2009. Alikiba was then nominated for Best International Act at the BEFFTA Awards, (Black Entertainment, Film, Fashion, Television and Arts Awards) which was held at the London Hilton Metropol.

With a career on the rise, Alikiba will bring a unique style and flair to the ONE8 music project.
4x4 is made up of strangely named trio consisting of Captain Planet, Fresh Prince and Abortion. Captain Planet's real name is Sylvanus Dodji Jeoffrey and Abortion was christened Raphael Edem Avornyo. Fresh Prince’s real name is Prince Tamakloe.

4X4 is a rap group mentored by hip-life duo Buk Bak (Bright and Rooney). They released their first album ‘Siklitele’ in 2003, followed by a second album ‘Contestant Number 1’ in 2007. The group explain that they choose the name 4×4 because the whole crew was elevated by four minds: Bright, Ronny, Captain Planet and Abortion.
4X4, was initially a duo, later bringing Fresh Prince (Prince Tamakloe) on board to feature on their 2007 hit ‘HotGirls.com’ eventually joining the group permanently to make it a trio.
Under the watchful eye of Ronnie Coches and Bright Bling Sparkles (Buk Bak) the group has made a massive name for themselves in the Ghanaian music scene.
Captain Planet is the first person to rap in Ghanaian vernacular languages which include Akuapem, Twi, Ga, Ewe, and Pidgin English.
Abortion, who is a ragga artist, started rapping with a group called Kokorokoo in high school which featured Ghana's premier Akuapem rapper, Pope Skinnie. Captain Planet also started rapping in secondary school with a group called the Wu Clan. He was discovered by Buk Bak after being featured on a television programme called Kiddafest.
As great role models to the youth in Ghana, the members of 4x4 have worked extremely hard to get where they are today. Captain Planet has a degree in Advanced Marketing while Abortion studied his dream career of being an architect at ATTC.
Their latest album, Hotgirls.com is a blend of foreign touch (hip hop style) but with a local dialect and dancehall flavour. Speaking to Ghanaian media, they stated that ‘we have introduced this new blend of foreign touch (hip hop style) with local dialect and dancehall to sound different, more productive and very hot. The album is going to be launched in some tertiary institutions like University of Ghana, Legon, Kwame Nkrumah of Science and Technology and Cape Coast University.”
“We have decided to launch the album in tertiary institutions because our target audience are the youth and the best place to reach their hearts is to be at their doorsteps in their various institutions”, they said.
We are sure that their great example to the youth mixed with their pride for their country will see 4x4 fit perfectly into the One8 project.
Daniel Kigozi aka Navio is one of the biggest hip hop names in Uganda. Navio has been at the forefront of developing the country’s bourgeoning hip hop scene over the last ten years and has made huge strides in pushing the genre to new heights in East Africa.

It started in the year 2000 when Navio and four fellow performers began singing and rapping in karaoke bars around Kampala where they soon began drawing crowds to their riveting performances.

The 5 rappers formed the group “Klear Kut” and caught the eye of local producer Steve Jean who helped them recorded their first single “Nothin’ Wrong Wit’ A Lil’ Doe’” The song was well received by the Ugandan public and this made “Klear Kut” the first local hip hop group to be accepted by mainstream critics.

Navio and Klear Kut then teamed up with Dawoo and Daudi Productions to record their full length album. The single “All I Wanna Know” which featured Juliana, made it to the top of the charts in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. The video for “All I Wanna Know” also pioneered modern video production in Uganda. It earned the group two nominations at the prestigious 2002 Kora All Africa Music Awards in the “Most Promising African Group” and “Revelation of the Year” categories. This also made them the first Ugandan group to be nominated at the KORA’s.
Klear Kut was also nominated at the 2003 Pearl of Africa Music Awards and won the award for “Best Hip Hop Group.” The group then released a second album, “K2”, which featured the hit single “Mon Coeur/Murder of Crows.” The video was on heavy rotation on WBS as well as TV Africa before the station's demise. The video also topped the EATV Top 10 music video charts and would further create new records by being the first Ugandan music video to be featured on MTV [1]. The album features Bebe Cool, TID, Benon, Rania, E-Von & Poetic.
Navio had by this stage developed his own individual style which he termed “Uga-flow” and in 2009 he launched his first solo album “Half the Legend.” Having spent six years in South Africa, Navio is excited to be back home revitalising what he feels is a homogenous music scene. Through continued solo projects, work with his group Klear Kut and further collaborations, Navio will continue to develop the East African hip hop sound.

One of the continents most successful rap stories, ex-pats Movaizhaleine, now residing in Paris, France, have taken the African rap flag and are flying it high across the world for Gabon, and indeed the rest of the continent.
Consisting of two young conscientious rappers, Lord Ekomy Ndong and Maat Seigneur Lion, the group, also affectionately known as MH, began rapping together when still at high school - highly influenced by the activism on the continent at the time.
Musically the boys were sucked in by the sounds of reggae bands such as Burning Spear as well as the iconic hip-hop acts like NWA, Public Enemy and KRS One. Living in the heart of Gabon they were also shaped by listening to African bands such as Griot Mvett, Sacred Harp and Bwiti.
Strong believers in the rehabilitation of Black history, the duo started rapping about their views and in a short space of time became favourites on radio stations in Libreville, They formed their own independent record label Zorbam productions and released their first single – a track called Nyabinghi. In 1998 their first solo album Mission came out and was a ground breaking release for the African rap market, proving to the rappers they could achieve success through music.
In 2001 they released the follow up album Mission Akomplie which boasted collaborations with acts such as Patrick Nguema Ndong, Anthony Gussie and Annie Flore Batchiellilys. In 2003 the members took a short break to both release solo albums to great success, but this was by no means the end of MH. They came back hard and fast in 2005 with the album On Détient La Harpe Sacrée (Tome 1), again resulting in a best seller for the group.
Movaizhaleine also organizes events that reaffirm the fundamental values of African conscious hip-hop in Gabon. Their annual concert 'Le Show Du Pays' (the show of the country) is an important event on the local hip-hop scene.
In January 2007, MH assembled their own studio and recorded La Foret Des Abeilles (the Drill of the Bees). In late 2007, they released their 4th album 'TOME 2'. MH won the 2008 Video of the Year at the inaugural MTV MAMA Music Awards for their single “Nous”, despite the obvious political message in the track.
A pioneer of the Gabonese Hip Hop scene, MH is the longest-standing group in the rap community. With 4 top selling albums under their belt and more than a hundred spectacular showcases in Africa and France, the group is still growing from strength to strength. Joining the ONE8 team is a natural move for these pan-African cultural leaders.

Frank Lampard kukosa mechi muhimu

Frank Lampard atakosa michezo muhimu kwa timu yake ya Chelsea na timu ya taifa ya England kutokana na kuendelea kupata nafuu baada ya kufanyiwa upasuaji wa ngiri.

Lampard mwenye umri wa miaka 32 hajaichezea klabu yake kwa mwezi mmoja na meneja wake Carlo Ancelotti amethibitisha kiungo huyo hataweza kucheza kwa takriban wiki mbili zijazo.
Kipindi hicho atakosa mechi dhidi ya Marseille, Arsenal na mchezo wa kufuzu mashindano ya Euro 2012 wakati England itakapopambana na Montenegro.

Ancelotti ameendelea kusema, Lampard hawezi kucheza kwa sasa, wanahitaji muda zaidi tofauti na walivyotazamia.

Kwa vile hajaichezea Chelesea, Ancelotti amesema vile vile hatakuwa tayari kuichezea timu ya taifa.

Lampard alirejea mazoezini baada ya kufanyiwa upasuaji tarehe 31 mwezi wa Agosti, lakini amekuwa akisumbuliwa na maumivu kwenye kovu.

Papa wa Misri awaomba radhi Waislamu

Kiongozi wa kikiristo wa madhehebu ya Copti nchini Misri ameomba radhi kwa matamshi "yasiofaa" yaliyotolewa na askofu aliyoonesha kuwa na wasiwasi na baadhi ya aya za Quran.

Papa Shenouda III alisema kupitia televisheni ya taifa, " Ninaomba samahani sana kuwa hisia za ndugu zangu wa kiislamu zimeumizwa."

Awali, askofu Bishoy alisema- tofauti na imani za Muislamu- baadhi ya aya za Quran huenda ziliongezwa baada ya kifo cha Mtume Muhammed.

Mamlaka ya kiislamu ya al-Azhar nchini humo yamesema matamshi hayo yanatishia usalama wa kitaifa.

Imam Ahmed al-Tayyeb katika taarifa iliyotolewa siku ya Jumamosi na al-Azhar, moja ya kituo muhimu ya mafunzo ya kidini ya madhehebu ya Sunni, " Tabia ya namna hii haifai na inatishia usalama wa taifa katika wakati ambao ni muhimu kuulinda."

Idadi ya wafuasi wa madhehebu ya Copt ni kuanzia asilimia sita hadi 10 ya raia milioni 80 nchini humo na hulalamika juu ya ubaguzi unaofanywa na taifa hilo.

In her Diary Session, Meryl reveals how she considered saving Mwisho but reminded herself she walked into the house as an individual.
Meryl, who is Head of House this week, mentioned how she feels there is no room for personal issues when it comes to playing the game. Meryl, who was also up for possible Eviction, switched herself and put Paloma up instead.She mentioned how if Mwisho has to leave, they will leave as friends and family and will see each other outside the house. "We are here to play the game are we not," she said.

Meryl also took the time out to send a shout out to her daughter who turned 10 months on Sunday and also addressed how she feels Kaone has not been following the rules of his punishment to the tee.

Gazet hilo, The News of the World linadai Baraza la Kimataifa la Cricket -lCC-linamchunguza mchezaji huyo, ambaye jina lake halikutajwa kwa sababu za kisheria.
Baraza la ICC limesema haliwezi kutoa taarifa yoyote juu ya uchunguzi unaondelea.

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan completed his move to English Premier League club Sunderland for a club record fee of over 13 million pounds on Tuesday.

Gyan agreed a four-year contract with Steve Bruce's side in a deal which shatters the club's previous record when they signed Darren Bent from Tottenham for 10 million pounds in 2009.

The 24-year-old's move was announced 20 minutes before the transfer window in England shut at 1700GMT.

"Sunderland have broken their transfer record to sign Ghanaian World Cup star Asamoah Gyan from French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennes," a statement on the club's website confirmed.

"Gyan arrives on Wearside for a fee in excess of 13 million pounds - more than Sunderland chief Steve Bruce paid to acquire Darren Bent from Tottenham last year."

Gyan boosted his reputation with some fine displays at the World Cup scoring three goals, although his tournament ended on a low note when he missed a last-minute penalty against Uruguay that would have sent Ghana into the semi-finals.

The Accra-born star has netted 22 times in 44 international appearances and his move to the Premier League should be eased by the presence at Sunderland of Ghana team-mate John Mensah, who is loan from French club Lyon.

Gyan could make his Sunderland debut at Wigan on September 11 in the team's next game after the international break.
He is already looking forward to playing in the local derby against Newcastle and told the club's website: "It's been a long day, but finally I'm happy to be here.

"My family is in England already and I am happy this is the right place for me.

"The Sunderland coach has faith in me because he has been following me for two years now. I am pleased I have the opportunity to come to England.

"I follow English football and I know Sunderland have incredible fans.

"I especially know about the derby when they play against Newcastle. That is something incredible. I have witnessed that myself."

Gyan's arrival was perfectly timed as Bruce learned on Tuesday that striker Fraizer Campbell will be sidelined for at least six months after rupturing cruciate knee ligaments.

Paloma also danced a tad but then decided to watch the action from the sidelines, but was soon back as soon as she heard her favourite Ragga tune.

In the Barn, the excitement was tangible with Hannington and Tatiana perched on what seems to be their favourite spot, on top of each other on the dining room table. Lerato and Yacob also looked like they were getting along famously and found a corner where they got their groove on.

Yacob, famed for not having any rhythm, seemed to forget about this fact and moved to the beat and almost pushed Lerato off the table. He took off his jacket and revealed a tattoo on each arm. Back in the house, the Housemates, led by Sheila wrote down some of their requests using lipstick on the Glass House window.

Jen and Meryl, who had very little on, led the troupe and wiggled and gyrated in time to the sounds.
